A real strategy for the 2012 election would be...

- Not to alienate a large portion of your constituents by having a democratic convention speech at the "Bank of America stadium.

- Not to alienate another large portion of your constituents by approving the NDAA bill.

- Not to alienate yet even more of your constituents by telling us that you're going to change the lobby, then accepting money from those very lobbies.

- By not giving into the neocons who are pushing you towards war with Iran (this one's still on the board).

This one election should have been a no brainer, and a couple years ago it would have been. Any momentum that Mr. Obama had is gone, and his base is now (rightly) running away from this Administration. Is Mitt Romney the choice for us? No. But Ron Paul IS an option.

This race is already lost.

Nice try but the base is running back to the middle ground that the President will own after the Loony party picks their clown. The race is neither won nor lost and Ron Paul is another three percent of the electorate loser.
